Troubadour Theatre Musical Theatre Camp 2011
The Troubadour Theatre's Musical Theatre camp is a two week long day
camp open to ages 8-17. Students will learn acting, singing, and
dancing, as well as other areas of theatre such as directing,
playwriting, and theatrical design. Students will also perform in a
fully-mounted production of the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie, which will be performed
on the last day of camp for family and friends. The camp takes place
June 20-July 1 9:00-3:30 M-F, costs $295 or $270 for early mail in
registration, and will be at La Paloma Academy 8140 E. Golf Links Rd.

Dare to Prepare is a free 90-minute workshop for parents and teens that provides critical information teens need to know before they take the wheel. This presentation walks attendees through the steps necessary to obtain a permit and a driver's license, and offers useful tools to help parents and teens through the learning-to-drive process.
The presentation covers:
• State and national statistics on teen driving
• Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) components
• State requirements for obtaining a permit and driver’s license
• Parent’s role and responsibilities
• What to look for in a driving school
Seeking Summer Program for 13-Year Old Son
I have a 13-year old son who would like to attend a summer program. He will be in high school next school year but he's definitely not a leader. We live in the area of Oracle and Magee but can definitely travel into town but not much farther than the U of A or Pima West.
