Informational Meetings
The International School of Tucson (“ISTâ€) offers an international programme, one element of which requires students to study in two first languages from Grade One. Accordingly, IST’s Pre-School, ages three to five, is a full-immersion programme, currently offered in French, German and Spanish. IST has the capabilities to offer another one or two languages and currently Arabic and Chinese are under consideration. The Junior School Programme, ages six to eleven, is a dual-immersion programme in Spanish / English with French / English starting August 2007. IST is able to offer perhaps 60 or so additional languages, subject to minimum enrolments.
Patricia Henryk Scholarship
The International School of Tucson is delighted to announce the 2007/2008 Patricia Henryk Music Scholarship.
This annual Scholarship is open to students entering Junior One (ages 5 or 6) or Junior Two (ages 6 or 7) in August 2007 and covers 50% of the applicable Tuition Fees. In 2007/2008, the International School of Tucson anticipates offering French / English and Spanish / English in Junior One, and Spanish/English in Junior Two. The Scholarship is not available to current or former IST students.

German-immersion Program Confirmed
The International School of Tucson announces that sufficient Tuition Deposits have now been received to confirm the opening of the Pre-School (ages 3 - 5) German-immersion program in January 2007. This is in addition to the already existing French and Spanish programs; interest in opening a Chinese (Mandarin) program is now being sought. On the fourth Saturday of every month, we have our gate wide open to the public. from 9am-3pm for SASI's Community Day. It is a day full of activities including nature walks, guest speakers, workshops, presentations, and inter-generational activities for families. My name is Jessica, I am writing from a British television production company in London- Visual Voodoo which is part of the large news agency ITN.
We are working on a new series with well known psychic called Derek Ogilvie who has a very special gift of communicating with babies.
There has been series recorded with him already for British television where every week he visits a family where the child has (quite straightforward) behavioural problems- for example- is always crying, doesn’t eat certain foods, wont get in his pushchair etc

We are pleased to announce that Love 2 Sign LLC will be teaching Baby and Me Sign Language class at Tucson Medical Center (TMC)!
Love 2 Sign offers child friendly 6 week in-depth classes for parents and children. Learn to teach babies to communicate through signing before they are able to speak and empower them to express their specific needs and wants. Taught through songs, games and stories. Babies up to 2 years of age are welcome. Classes meet once a week for 1 hour of interactive fun. Class fee is $70.00 and includes SIGN with your BABYâ„¢ book.
