New School for Students with Learning Differences

By dwillowes - Posted on 12 September 2005

Desert Willow is currently establishing a school for students who need a different way to learn. The school is for middle school and high school age students. We focus on 1) personalized programs designed around the interests of the student; 2) instruction developed for a student's own learning styles and needs; 3)skill development in writing, reading, and math; and 4) confidence and self esteem building. Our classes are based on the state standards and present students with the opportunity to explore a variety of levels of academic challenge.
Fridays are reserved for community outings and field trips.
