Informational Meetings

The International School of Tucson (“IST”) offers an international programme, one element of which requires students to study in two first languages from Grade One. Accordingly, IST’s Pre-School, ages three to five, is a full-immersion programme, currently offered in French, German and Spanish. IST has the capabilities to offer another one or two languages and currently Arabic and Chinese are under consideration. The Junior School Programme, ages six to eleven, is a dual-immersion programme in Spanish / English with French / English starting August 2007. IST is able to offer perhaps 60 or so additional languages, subject to minimum enrolments.

You are invited to attend an informational meeting to learn about IST’s programme, and whether our School might be appropriate for your family. Five meetings will be held this month :

 Monday 19 March 9.00 – 10.30am Junior School Spanish
 Tuesday 20 March 9.00 – 10.30am Junior School French
 Tuesday 27 March 6.00 – 7.30pm Pre-School general
 Wednesday 28 March 6.00 – 7.30pm Junior School general
 Thursday 29 March 6.00 – 7.30pm Pre-School general

The 19 and 20 March meetings will be held at the same time as IST’s French and Spanish Book Fair so guests will also be able to visit the Fair. The meetings will be held at the School, 1730 North First Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85719 and if you plan on attending, please let the School know by email.
